TOPIC: Not All EA Roles Are Created Equal
GUEST SPEAKER: Colleen Doble
Master Class Overview
Why can supporting one executive feel so different from supporting another?
In this practical and interactive session, Colleen will introduce Patrick Lencioni’s Working Genius model and explore what happens when your Working Geniuses meet your executive’s. Discover where you naturally complement one another, where gaps and frustrations can arise and how understanding both can help build a stronger and more effective EA-Executive partnership.
Expect a few “Oh… that explains a lot!” moments along the way.
Introducing Colleen Doble
Colleen has spent more than 25 years working in education across teaching, executive support and school leadership environments. Having worked as an Executive Assistant to senior educational leaders, she understands firsthand the unique role EAs play - anticipating needs, juggling priorities, supporting others and quietly helping keep things moving.
Colleen also knows that not all EA roles are created equal. Supporting one executive can feel vastly different from supporting another and discovering Working Genius gave her a simple language for understanding why.
As an Insightful Collaborator (genius combination of Discernment - Enablement), Colleen naturally finds herself assessing what will work, supporting others and helping move things forward. She has facilitated Working Genius with individuals, leaders and teams across education and other business sectors and loves seeing the clarity that comes when people better understand themselves and each other - improving communication, strengthening relationships and changing the way teams work together.
