ABOUT US

A community for connection, growth and belonging

There are many networks for administrative professionals in the corporate world, but none that focus purely on those of us in the education sector—until now.

This group started as five people on LinkedIn, helping each other to feel valued, supported, and empowered in this space. We’ve now grown to a national membership of hundreds of education administrative professionals - all lifting each other up and helping each other to grow.

This is a vibrant community where Executive / Personal Assistants working with senior educational leaders can connect and thrive with specified and tailored professional learning opportunities.

The EAs in Education membership is a place for networking, learning, and supporting those who provide such an important role and function in our schools. We are committed to creating environments where learning and growth are at the forefront, ensuring that every interaction contributes to an optimistic, empowering and dynamic school culture.

MEET KRISTINE NIVEN, EAS IN EDUCATION FOUNDER

As an Education EA with a decade of experience in the education industry, I understand the complexities and often isolating nature of the role.

I believe that relationships are at the very core of exceptional work in professional and school settings, so I established EAs in Education to create a strong community for networking, support, and learning opportunities.

I am passionate about open communication and supporting others in the community, and I truly love getting to know and support our members-- gaining a sense of what motivates, inspires, and drives you.  This group exists to empower our members to be the best versions of themselves.

This allows us to build strong relationships within the school environment and beyond. I believe every conversation and interaction is valuable, and we can create our own optimistic environment-- a place of learning, connection and belonging.

  • “Working as an EA /PA in Education can be isolating. Not many people understand what your day consists of and how you spend your time. Kristine has acknowledged this lack of connection and understanding.”

  • “This group is there when you need it. You don't have to engage on a daily basis. But just having that support to check in during busy times and ask “How are we, team?” Having that check in is vital.” – quote from our first Lunch and Learn event”

  • “EAs in Education is a wonderful platform for EAs and PAs to connect, learn, laugh and support each other. I look forward to the next amazing event that Kris has planned.”
