EAs in Education
A community for connection, growth and belonging
EAs in Education is a national professional network for Executive, Personal and Senior Administrative Assistants working in school environments.
Founded by Kristine Niven, it was created to fill a gap — while many networks exist for corporate administrative professionals, there was none dedicated solely to those in education.
Education EAs and PAs play vital roles within their school communities — roles that are complex, challenging, and deeply rewarding. Supporting students while working alongside senior executives, parents, teachers and administrative staff, the position can also feel isolating at times.
This is why EAs in Education exists — a place to connect, support one another, and learn through shared experience.
What began as a small LinkedIn group has grown into a thriving national community. Members benefit from tailored professional learning, guided by the 9C Learning Matrix, designed to strengthen capability, confidence, and influence within the role.
EAs in Education recognises that the role is more than administrative — it is strategic, relational, and influential. We empower senior administrative professionals to lead through influence, build strong partnerships, and contribute meaningfully to the success of their organisations.
Learning Framework
EAs in Education offerings are guided by our learning framework. Through a shared commitment to learn, lead, and achieve, we influence the educational journey in meaningful ways.
The circle design denotes our unity, stronger as one and reflects both the cyclical and eternal nature of a commitment to lifelong learning. The resemblance to a dart board, highlights a focus on the things that truly matter.
At the heart of EAs in Education are the guiding principles of Connect, Grow, and Belong. These pillars shape our strategic direction and underpin the supportive, inclusive community we’ve built - one that transcends school types, denominations, and locations. Our members are the centre of everything we do.
Professional learning is designed using the 9Cs Learning Matrix, which acts as a compass for planning events and developing curriculum content tailored to the needs of our network. Our values Empathy, Kindness, Integrity and Respect guide our culture and interactions as a place of inclusivity and diversity both nationally and internationally.
The components of the framework are not just a concept, but an active and evolving practice in the lives of Executive Assistants, ultimately seeing themselves as strategic leaders.
