A place for you to connect, learn, and grow with other professionals in your role

Education Executive and Personal Assistants play a vital role within their school communities — one that is both complex and deeply rewarding.

We operate within a unique environment, supporting students while working alongside senior executives, parents, teachers, administrative teams and wider school community.

I know firsthand that the position can feel isolated at times, so this is our place to come together as a community to support and learn from each other.

  • "Being part of the EAs in Education network has strengthened my skills, broadened my perspective, and deepened my confidence. Beyond the exceptional professional learning opportunities, Kristine has encouraged me to lean into my strengths and step into opportunities I never would have imagined, including presenting my own webinars. This community does not merely educate; it elevates. Kristine’s generosity, advocacy, and vision for the profession are woven into every event."

    - Katie York, Caloundra Christian College

  • "Being part of the EAs in Education network has been invaluable. It provides a team of likeminded professionals who understand the unique demands of this work. The webinars and shared experiences offer practical strategies and reassurance, strengthening my confidence and broadening my perspective. The network reminds me that while our work is often behind the scenes, its impact is significant."

    - Sandra Hennessy, Northholm Grammar

  • "The EAs in Education network has reinforced that we are not just support staff; we are leaders. It has given me Mentorship Matters: Learning from Others connection, validation, and practical tools to lead well. Sharing experiences with peers who understand the weight of confidentiality, the complexity of competing priorities, and the emotional resilience our roles demand reminds me that leadership takes many forms. The network provides resources, insights, and encouragement that help me grow professionally and personally. It is more than networking; it is a community of leaders committed to excellence and to lifting each other up."

    -Melissa Butcher, Leighland Christian School

  • "Being part of EAs in Education has strengthened my love for this profession. The network has expanded my skills, built my confidence, and provided fresh tools that make my work more effective. More importantly, it has given me a strong sense of belonging. Connecting with likeminded professionals who understand the unique demands of working as an EA in Education has been both reassuring and energising. We share ideas, uplift one another, and celebrate our wins together. It is a community where I can be both learner and contributor – and that is empowering."

-Pam Waterhouse, Oran Park Anglican College

  • "Being part of EAs in Education has provided me with friendships and a deeper understanding of the vital role that we play as EAs. The network provides collaboration, professional growth, and mentorship. Kristine has provided a warm, caring, supportive environment for colleagues to come together and grow into our roles as leaders. While EAs are not often recognised for the role they play, we are celebrated within this group. This network has given me newfound confidence both professionally and personally. It has reaffirmed how important EAs are in education."

-Melanie Quigley, Sacred Heart Girls' College

  • "Meeting Kristine Niven at a professional learning session was a turning point. She planted the seed for the EAs in Education network, a vision that quickly grew because the need was so clear. Connecting with likeminded professionals filled a gap we didn’t even realise existed. Kristine has been my rock and mentor, uplifting everyone she meets with her relentless support and incredible ability to connect people. Her leadership has inspired me and so many others."

    -Louise Andersson, Melbourne Girls Grammar

  • "Being part of EAs in Education has given me a real sense of connection. Being an EA can sometimes feel quite lonely, and connecting with other EAs in Education over the past three years has allowed me to meet like-minded colleagues, share ideas, and talk honestly about the things we’re all navigating in our schools and workplaces. The network continues to be a wonderful source of support for me."

    -Georgia Barnes, Camberwell Grammar
