Kristine Niven
Founder, EAs In Education
“As an Executive Assistant in Education myself, I have a deep understanding of the role and what it takes, but I have also experienced the lack of opportunities for education, support, and connection. I founded EAs in Education to fill this gap.”
Kristine Niven is an Executive Assistant to the Campus Principal at Beaconhills College in Melbourne, Australia, working at the intersection of leadership, strategy, and school operations. With close to 15 years’ experience in the education sector, she brings deep expertise in governance, executive coordination, and the complexities of senior leadership support.
With a firsthand understanding of both the impact and the often isolating nature of the role, Kristine founded EAs in Education — a national network dedicated to connection, professional learning, and support for Executive Assistants in schools. She is a strong advocate for the EA–Senior Executive partnership and the vital influence EAs have on organisational success.
Kristine is also the author of The Leadership Edge, a work that seeks to elevate and redefine Executive Assistant leadership within education.
At the heart of Kristine’s work is a belief that strong relationships underpin exceptional outcomes. She is passionate about open communication and meaningful connection, taking the time to understand what motivates, inspires, and drives those within her community.
