JUST BE KIND
This week, I’ve been reminded that words matter.
They can lift someone up - or leave a lasting mark.
As Executive Assistants in education, our words carry weight - not just in what we say, but in how we say it. In the busiest moments, when tension runs high and decisions are made quickly, kindness isn’t a luxury - it’s a leadership choice.
But even more powerful than words are our actions. The way we show up, how we support others, and how we carry ourselves in every hallway, inbox, and meeting - that’s what people remember.
So let’s choose our words and actions with care.
Let’s lead with integrity, empathy, respect, and kindness - always.
Before you speak, pause and ask yourself:
– Is it true?
– Is it kind?
– Is it necessary?
Because even in the busiest moments, compassion costs nothing, and it changes everything.
Kindness isn’t just what we do, it’s how we communicate.
